Gift Set Wine Boxes
At The Wine Tasting Shop, our familiarity with the style and story of each wine, and our "hands on" approach to customer service make us a popular destination for the purchase of gift wines.
Whether it's a Christening gift made for ageing in the cellar, a celebratory bottle of champagne, or just a nice gesture on a budget, we've loads of choices. And, if you've chosen a gift wine with us before, you know we are always happy to take that extra time & find the perfect bottle for any gift occasion.
Did you know that we also offer gift wrapping? Next time, why not put together customized gift set of wine?! The box's punch out design is a great way to show off the lovely labels, and they double as a sturdy carrier case! Choose two wines, and for just £2 extra, we'll wrap them up in style (£1 for the single bottle gift bag). Leave some extra time, and we can include a handwritten card describing the wines, just like the ones that line our shelves, with tasting notes and other handy information.
In a hurry? Why not call up before, and give us a 2 bottle budget. We'll select two fantastic wines, like the ones above, and have your gift ready to pick up.
Pictured here, two wines by top Australian producer, Cullen. A very small producer in the Margaret River area of Australia, Cullen hand-crafts Bordeaux style wines of elegance and precision. Mangan, named for the vineyard, is a blend of Malbac, Petit Verdot and Merlot, matured in French oak barriques for 12 months, with intense smoky cherries and violets on the nose, and a powerful yet classy palate. The white is also a Bordeaux blend of Semillon/Sauvignon Blanc with big heady ripe fruits on the nose, and a lingering rich palate with fresh acidity. Both wines are produced biodynamically and organically, and with only wild yeast fermentation, so completely natural!
